On July 5, 2012 my wonderful fiance, Ryan, proposed. I have been wanting to start this blog now for several of these engaged months, but have not had that ‘spark’ to get me moving. Well the Tampa Bay Bridal Expo was last weekend and it was just the push I needed.
It was amazing to me to see all of the brides there. It truly opened my eyes into fully comprehending how many brides that are ALL getting married within this year just in Tampa alone. When we brides think about our wedding planning experience, it is so easy to think, “It’s all about me”..and yes that is true ;] BUT, there are so many others sharing in this wonderful experience too! And that is why I love the idea of a blog…it allows me and others to connect on the level of planning a wedding.
So, what has been happening in this crazy-awesome planning experience? Well, we have accomplished a lot so far! Let’s see…We have our DJ, Photographer, Videographer, Church, Reception Venue all booked..and que the sigh of relief!! (This is why having a wedding planner is so amazing..but that is a whole other post!)
I must say another exciting accomplishment is finding my dress and my bridesmaids dresses. There isn’t a more exciting time in the wedding planning process than finding “the dress”. It is such a beautiful moment when you look at yourself and realize that you will be marrying the love of your life in that dress…nothing else compares.
